Introducing the new 2035 Process Analyzer and the ICON Analyzer

The 2035 Process Analyzer and ICON Analyzer: The latest member of Metrohm’s process analyser family.

With more than 40 years of experience in online process analysis, Metrohm Process Analytics has just extended its range of state-of-the-art process analyser family with this duo: the 2035 Process Analyzer and the ICON Analyzer.

2035 Process Analyzer

Customized online monitoring of industrial processes and wastewater

The 2035 Process Analyzer is an integrated solution for 24/7 online monitoring of critical chemical parameters in industrial processes and wastewater streams. The new system is entirely modular by design enabling custom configurations for monitoring single or multiple process streams.

The 2035 Process Analyzer comes in three basic configurations for potentiometric, photometric, and thermometric measurements. Any of these can be combined with additional measuring techniques such as pH and/or conductivity measurement.

  • Custom configurations possible: Due to modular architecture of the wet part, there is an analyzer configuration for each specific application challenge. A large array of functional modules such as burettes, pumps, vessels, valves, and more is available.
  • Robust design (IP66): Strict separation of wet part and electronics ensures safe operation in harsh environments. The electronics part is housed within non-corrosive epoxy-coated stainless steel.
  • Virtually unlimited sample conditioning options: Metrohm Process Analytics provides virtually any sample pre-conditioning system, such as cooling or heating, pressure reduction, degassing, filtration, and more.
  • Sophisticated data communication: Ethernet TCP/IP Network communication and remote operation, web services, MODBUS, analog outputs, digital outputs to transmit results, and alarm status signals. Result export to USB.

ICON Analyzer

“Plug and Analyze” online photometer for water and waste water analysis

The new ICON Analyser is an dedicated online photometer for near-continuous monitoring of critical parameters in any kind of water. It is the latest successor in the long tradition of successful single method online analyzers from Metrohm Process Analytics with remarkable features:

  • Ease of use: just connect the power, sample, and reagent lines and the ICON Analyzer is fully operational.
  • Superior reliability: validation, cleaning and calibration are standard features which significantly reduce down-time and operator intervention.
  • Outstanding sensitivity & accuracy: depending on the parameter and matrix, sensitivity of the ICON Analyzer ranges from µg/L- to mg/L-levels
  • Plug and Analyze: Simply connect the power, sample, and reagent lines and the units are up and running producing reliable results. The analysers can be used for monitoring a variety of components in water, such as silica, phosphate, ammonia, nitrate, zinc, and copper, to name but a few.

Metrohm Process Analytics combines Applikon’s expertise in online analysis and the know-how of the world’s leader in ion analysis, Metrohm. This combination has yielded analytical instruments that meet any requirements in the process industry. The product range varies from single-parameter analyzers to the most advanced multiparameter Ex Proof Analyzer for the most hazardous environments. With the NIRSystems Process Analyzers, Metrohm Process Analytics is setting the standard for real-time spectroscopic analysis with unmatched stability and performance.

Our family of Process Analyzers brings laboratory analysis online for continuous monitoring and control.
