Interdigitated Gold Electrodes with Platinum heater

DropSens interdigitated electrodes (IDEs) are composed of two interdigitated electrodes with two connection tracks, on a glass substrate.

These IDEs offer several advantages, such as working with low volumes of sample and avoiding tedious polishing of solid electrodes.

DropSens InterDigitated Gold Electrodes (IDEs) came up with a new gas sensors platform by depositing a sensing layer (semiconductor metal oxide) in the interdigitated area.

Bondable contacts allow wire bonding process. On the other side, a Platinum heater can be used to control the operating temperature in the sensing layer, due to the high thermal conductivity of the ceramic substrate used in this device.
