Maintaining your Metrohm IC

Maintaining your Metrohm IC

Care for your instrument, it will love you for it!

Like your car, complex laboratory instruments require maintenance. Unlike cars, laboratory instruments cannot run at “near optimal” performance. While your car will keep running if you don’t top up the windscreen washer fluid, an IC will not give the correct results if reagents are not topped up or filters are not changed.

Maintaining an IC can be a little scary at first. What if I overtighten it? What if I put it in back the front? What if… What if… What if…. But in reality, maintenance of a Metrohm IC is quite simple and easy to handle.

Metrohm visual guide and videos

To make it even easier, Metrohm has a visual guide, including videos to assist with maintaining your instrument. Available on-line, or on CD for those without internet access, the Metrohm IC Maintenance guide will guide any user through the standard maintenance requirements for an IC.

Maintenance intervals, frequently asked questions and a glossary of terms are also included to help you through.

Take care of the small maintenance requirements of your instrument and it will take care of you by running smoothly day in, day out…
