Particle size analysis for process control: continuous monitoring of size and shape, with Dynamic Image Analysis

The CAMSIZER P4 online can be adapted to fit in-line with your existing installation for continuous monitoring of size and shape – with a measuring range of 20µm to 30mm for size and shape data at your fingertips.

Particle size analysis is a crucial for ore materials in mineral processing. Whether it be natural aggregates/crushed rock-mass to sands and gravel, through to the floatation products, characterisation of feed and tails, to magnetic separation products in heavy mineral sands.

Controlling the crushing process

Comminution is energy intensive and requires continuous monitoring to reduce costs. Over-crushing develops too many fine particles, crushing too little creates overly coarse particles. The crushing process can be monitored and controlled by understanding the size distribution and shape of the crushed product. That’s where the CAMSIZER comes in!

The CAMSIZER P4 reliably analyses all size and shape parameters of a great variety of bulk materials and granulates including spherical and irregularly shaped grains and crystals, spray-dried and fluid bed granular materials, pellets and extrudates.

The CAMSIZER P4 is a time and cost-saving alternative whenever continuous quality control of the production process is required. It is also suitable for checking incoming and outgoing goods and generally for measurements of a wide range of different sample materials.
