Trace level speciation of toxic metals

Trace level speciation of toxic metals

Improve the analytical range of your MS and ICP/MS with an IC for speciation.

Mass spectrometers and ICP/MS instruments provide trace level analysis of a wide range of metals and components. The limitation of these techniques arrives when analysing oxidation states of metals or compounds.

The addition of ion chromatography as a separation technique prior to injection into an MS or ICP/MS allows the quantification and qualification of metal species, such as chromium, arsenic and mercury at very low detection limits.
