Consolidated beer analysis

Where are errors most easily introduced into the analytical process? Wherever the analyst handles the sample or data.

For a long time in analytical laboratories, the goal has been automation. Automation removes the human factor from sample preparation and analysis, whether it is 4 am, 11.55 am or 5 pm, sample are handled the same way. The disadvantage of automation has, historically, been each analysis requiring a sample changer.

Additional sample changers take up valuable lab space, are expensive to purchase and require more consumables. Multiple sample changers also require staff to load samples in multiple places, leading to potential errors in handling.

Metrohm provide analysis platforms that can integrate analyses such as titration, ion chromatography, electrochemistry or many more with one analytical system. One sample, many applications, many results, one report.

By integrating a simplified analysis process, handled by one sample handling system, errors from sample preparation are minimised. Time required to load samples is reduced and laboratory bench space is freed up for other requirements.

Challenging samples are analysed consistently regardless of the time of day, or analyst involved.
